I utilize the Science of Reading, which includes:
PHONEMIC AWARENESS
The ability to hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds (called phonemes) within spoken words,
PHONICS
The understanding of the relationship between the sounds of spoken language (phonemes) and the letters that represent them (graphemes).
FLUENCY
The ability to read accurately, quickly, and with expression.
